Adnan Siddiqui recently took to social media to dispel the rumours of his demise, which had been making rounds on social media. The Tamasha host became the most recent subject of a false celebrity death news case when a rumour of his passing away broke and ended up gaining undue traction.
The avoid any further distress and alarm, the Meray Paas Tum Ho antagonist quickly took to his Instagram and Twitter to prove that he was alive and well.
On his Instagram profile, the Yeh Dil Mera star posted a video of himself watching a YouTube video in which a woman could be heard reporting on his death. After playing the video briefly, he reacted to it with feigned grief and expressed his condolences before snapping out of the small performance and explicitly denying the rumours with his words and by showing himself in the flesh in real time.
His reaction was meant to be both serious and humorous, as he captioned the post, “All those spreading the rumours of my demise in the name of journalism and breaking news, next time, give me a fair idea before making me the headline. I’ll personally come to your studios and confirm it, complete with my epitaph. Your (ir)responsible journalism should look flawless after all”.
Adnan actor not only denied the rumours but also called out the individuals and media portals that had spread the news without verifying it and caused panic and distress. When reacting to the video that had been sent to him by one of his contacts on WhatsApp, he also stated "I am completely fine. Alhamdulillah, I am still alive. I don't know who spread this news. Please don't be upset. Dying is a part of life, but I still have a few days left".

Adnan ended the message with a smile, sending well wishes to his fans and taking a sip from his mug. He also shared a tweet on his Twitter profile to reject the false news, writing, “Before any one of you start offering condolences here, I am rubbishing the news of my demise that’s doing the rounds on social media. Yours truly is very much alive and kicking Alhamdulillah”.
