Security convoy escapes suicide attack

Attacker detonated himself in a desperate attempt to inflict harm

BANNU/ BAJAUR:

In a dramatic turn of events, a suicide bomber’s nefarious plans were thwarted in the Bannu district, where a security forces convoy emerged unscathed from a potential catastrophe.

The suicide attacker, driven by a sinister agenda, detonated himself in a desperate attempt to inflict harm, but fortune favored the forces, and there were no casualties in this incident.

However, in a separate incident in the Bajaur tribal district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the relentless scourge of terrorism claimed another life. An insidious improvised explosive device (IED) concealed in a nullah in the Mamond area struck a passing motorcyclist with fatal consequences.
