Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Balochistan has announced a protest demonstration slated to take place outside the Governor’s House, targeting the pressing issue of runaway inflation.
The Central Amir of the JI, Sirajul Haq, will lead this impactful demonstration, scheduled for September 24. Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, the Balochistan Amir of the JI, made this announcement during a press conference held at the Quetta Press Club, accompanied by Dr Attaur Rehman and Professor Sultan from the JI.
During the press conference, Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi passionately voiced his concerns about the state of the nation.

He pointed out that the former rulers of the country, by plunging it into a quagmire of crises, are now attempting to conceal their corruption. Hashmi called upon the government to confront these challenges with courage and decisiveness, or alternatively, admit their helplessness before the people.
Emphasizing the Jamaat-e-Islami’s commitment to fostering awareness among the populace, Hashmi stressed the importance of distinguishing between allies and adversaries. He accused past administrations of entering into agreements with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that, in his view, have subjugated the nation.
Hashmi’s demand was clear: the government should alleviate the burdens on the ordinary citizens rather than exacerbating them. He condemned the elite’s privileges and called for their reduction, arguing that those responsible for Balochistan’s plight are now blaming the province for its troubles.
On September 24, a protest dharna will be staged outside Governor House Quetta, led by Ameer Sirajul Haque, addressing the issues of inflation and IMF agreements.
