Residents of Sanjaliala village in Haripur are living in a constant state of fear due to the presence of giant boulders, perched atop a hill directly above the Sanjaliala Government Primary School, poised to tumble at any moment.
The perilous situation has left hundreds of children and educators at risk, leaving the community in a state of perpetual anxiety.
Despite multiple warnings, the district and tehsil administrations have not taken concrete actions to address this imminent threat.
Residents say in a move reminiscent of the Battagram chairlift tragedy, the administration now plans to conduct a photo shoot, further frustrating the concerned residents.
The pleas of Sanjaliala village residents have fallen on deaf ears, with the district and tehsil administrations displaying negligence and incompetence.
Former councilor Banaras Khan has voiced frustration, vowing that no one will be allowed to further exacerbate their plight in the wake of an accident.
He emphasised that public action would undoubtedly be taken against those responsible and accountable.
The administrative officials, however, assured the residents that this matter would be treated with the seriousness it deserves.
