Popular singer Shamoon Ismail took to Instagram on Friday and revealed that he met with a car accident that landed him in the hospital. The Faasla singer shared updated fans with a health update that he's doing much better post surgery, adding he kept the news of his serious condition low-key.
"I am thankful to be standing on my feet after a major car accident that led to hospitalisation and surgery. It's been a very challenging time and I kept it low-key to allow myself the space to process and heal. Many of my close ones will also find out about the accident after this post," the singer penned in an Instagram post.
Shamoon went on to thank his family, his team and doctors. "Thanks to my team, friends, family and doctors who stood by me for unconditional support," he said. The Rung crooner further revealed that he is set to release new music on September 21.
In 2021, Shamoon dropped his last offering, an album titled Scars and Screws. The musician had teased the album a week before the release date. The 12-track album features other artists including Hasan Raheem of Aisay Kaisay fame and Talha Anjum.
Hasan features on a track named Faasla, which the musician also posted to his own stories. Shamoon has also collaborated with music producer Ravalio on the album. He has made his mark in the Pakistani music scene and has also crossed the border straight into the playlists of international public figures such as Ilhan Omar.
