7 die in firing incident in Lower Kurram Agency: Officials
Local officials said that around 16-18 people were travelling in a passenger bus from Upper Kurram Agency towards Lower Kurram Agency when unidentified gunmen opened fire on the right-hand side of the van.
The firing also resulted in one person being injured.
The vehicle was on its way from the town of Ali Zai in Lower Kurram to Parachinar as the nation celebrated Eid al-Fitr, local administration chief Javedullah Khan told AFP.
The victims were all from the minority Shia community, he said.
An army operation called Operation Koh-e-Sufaid in Kurram Agency, which was launched to clear the area of militants whose fighting had increased the incidence of sectarian killings, kidnapping, and extortion in the agency, also recently ended.

The operation was intended to pave the way for the Taliban to continue their activities in Afghanistan.The poor Turis are punished for not providing a safe passage to the terrorists.Another Baluchistan in the making.
shame on govt and shame to the Rahman Malik and the pak Army that they says that they have a succesfull operation in kurram agency and i am always writing that these are just time passing there is no succesfull operation against miscreants and terrorists.
What about the successful military operation?

8 people were travelling from Alizai Lower Kurram to Upper Kurram (Parachinar) via Makhizai road where their bus were under attack and killed 4 of them on spot and and 3 critical injured cannot sustained their wounds and died in Alizai Hospital. 7 of 8 people belongs to same family. And remember all of them who are killed or injured belongs to Shia Sec.
