ANP, JUI-F manage to succeed on two of six seats

PESHAWAR:

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Sunday won the by-elections held on six vacant seats in Peshawar.

The PTI won four seats while the Awami Natinal Party and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam bagged one seat each.

According to unofficial results, Asadullah of the ANP won with 930 votes while Rafi Alam of the PTI won 570 votes in the village council of Peshawar.

In the Yousafzai neighbourhood council, Inayatullah of the JUI-F won by getting 1,044 votes while Khan Wali of the PTI got 658 votes.

PTI's Kashif Rehman won with 810 votes in Neighborhood Council Nagri Bala, while independent candidate Muhammad Ismail got 709 votes.

PTI's Umeed Khan won with 589 votes on the youth councilor’s seat in Neighborhood Council Garhi Banat, while ANP's Muhammad Saqib got 419 votes.

PTI's Muhammad Irfan won the youth councillor’s seat in Garhi Banat-IV by getting 553 votes, while independent candidate Zeeshan received 372 votes and JUI's candidate Muhammad Usman bagged 223 votes.

PTI's Niaz Muhammad won the youth councillor’s seat in Fazal Khaliq by getting 362 votes while Awami National Party's Niaz Muhammad got 246 votes.
