PTI-P holds first ever power show in Nowshera

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) Chairman Pervez Khattak on Saturday hit out at PTI chief Imran Khan and said that he succeeded in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) due to his support.
“It is not true that Imran Khan made me. On the contrary it was my support and leadership which made PTI hugely successfully in K-P. Despite all efforts of Imran Khan, Budzdar failed to deliver in Punjab,” he said.
PTI-P chose to hold its first grand show in Nowshera, the home town of Pervez Khattak and despite the fact that no one was expecting that the new party will be able to gather more than a few thousand supporters, its power show was more than successful.
With the Nowshera rally, PTI-P started political activities and it has already announced rallies in other districts of the province.
Critics are still expecting that Khattak will not be able to hold such huge rallies outside his hometown where he enjoys support of the general public for decades.
Tens of thousands of people attended the first ever rally of the newly found party.
Khattak said that Imran Khan brought his own downfall by over-estimating himself and misreading the entire political situation.
