Jinnah Hospital hosts Patient Safety Summit
The Jinnah Hospital hosted a Patient Safety Summit, drawing a significant turnout of medical professionals who shared insight on well-being of patients.
Speakers at the event highlighted preventive measures to ensure safety of patients. Notable figures from the health sector, including Executive Director Shahid Rasool and Dr Tariq Mehmood from the Radiology Department participated.
Dr Halima Yasmeen, Head of the Gynaecology Department, emphasised the summit's goal of educating medical university students about future precautions.
Medical experts highlighted the risk of infections during surgeries and urged heightened vigilance among medical staff, surgeons, patients, and attendants. An awareness walk also organised.
