Commissioner of Peshawar Division, Muhammad Zubair, undertook a visit to Warsak Dam on Thursday, aimed at assessing the security measures and ongoing rehabilitation efforts at the dam site.

The primary focus of the visit was to enhance the security provisions for the project staff. Joining Commissioner Zubair were Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar, Shah Fahad, Deputy Commissioner of Khyber, Abdul Nasir, SP Security Atiq Shah, DPO of Khyber, Saleem Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Relief of Peshawar, Imran Yousafzai, and other relevant officials.

During the visit, the Project Director delivered a comprehensive overview of the ongoing work related to the second Warsak Dam Rehabilitation Project. Additionally, the Director of Security provided detailed insights into the security arrangements for the project personnel.

Addressing the gathering, Commissioner Muhammad Zubair issued clear directives for the full implementation of safety protocols in accordance with guidelines set by both federal and provincial authorities. He also urged deputy commissioners to periodically inspect the site to ensure security compliance and monitor progress. Subsequently, accompanied by officials, toured the Warsak Dam Power House.
