Security forces kill two terrorists in Waziristan IBO

Military’s media wing says weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists

NORTH WAZIRISTAN:

The security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence based operation on reported presence of terrorists in general area Razmak, North Waziristan district in the night between Aug 14 and 15, the military’s media wing stated.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations, “During the conduct of operation, security forces surrounded the terrorists’ location and after intense fire exchange, two terrorists were sent to hell.”

The ISPR added that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as extortion and target killing of innocent citizens.

“The sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in there,” it said, adding that locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
