PCBDDA, LDA join forces for urban planning

Commissioner says initiative will mark new era of sustainable development

The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) also recognised as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab) and the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to forge a collaborative path for the city's future.

The MoU signing ceremony, held on Saturday, witnessed the convergence of key figures including Lahore Division Commissioner and LDA Director General Mohammad Ali Randhawa, and CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin.

The agreement was formalised by the exchange of signed documents between Waseem Siddique, Director Marketing at CBD Punjab and Rabia Riasat, Director Admin at LDA, solidifying their shared commitment to a fruitful partnership.

Commissioner Lahore expressed his optimism, declaring, "Collaboration between CBD Punjab and LDA heralds a new era of sustainable urban development."

He emphasised the alignment of vision between the two entities and highlighted the potential for an extended project scope and amplified investment opportunities within the city.

Echoing these sentiments, CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin, remarked, "Our combined efforts will pave the way for a paradigm shift in urban planning." The partnership's potency as a catalyst for growth and innovation was underscored, creating a dynamic ecosystem that welcomes both local and international investors.

To bolster their joint endeavours, a series of strategic events are on the horizon, including investor conferences, domestic and foreign road shows, and expos. These undertakings demonstrate the commitment of both entities to effective project marketing and broadening their collaborative impact.

The alliance between CBD Punjab and LDA marks a pivotal stride in Lahore's ongoing urban transformation, promising a more radiant and prosperous future for the city and its residents.
