Alia Bhatt reveals Gal Gadot was one of the first to know about her pregnancy

Actors developed a special bond during the shooting of their movie Heart of Stone

While speaking to BBC Asian Network, Alia Bhatt shared how Gal Gadot was one of the first few people she revealed her pregnancy to in 2022. Alia recalled receiving immense support and care from her Heart of Stone team after she told the director Tom Harper, fellow actor Gal, and producers.

"I felt very protected and comfortable. You don’t really talk about being pregnant until you are way into your first trimester, so I was not telling many people. But I did confide in Gal Gadot. I did confide in my producers and the director (Tom Harper) because they had to know,” she shared.

When asked if she ever considered withdrawing from the action film, Alia responded that she never considered pulling out of the film once she found out about her pregnancy, saying “They were all so lovely and supportive and excited that I never for once doubted it at all.". During the interview, Alia was all praises for the Wonder Woman actor, stating “she exudes warmth and she is also extremely caring about everybody on her crew and she is wonderful with her actors as well”.

Alia also shared an incident from filming when it was a particularly hot day and Gal was stressing over her hydration levels. “It was really hot and Gal was really bothered about my hydration and she was telling me to keep myself hydrated, asking me to drink enough water. She’d say, ‘You need to keep yourself hydrated’”.

Both Alia’s pregnancy and the shooting of Heart of Stone took place in 2022. The recently released film shows Alia in the avatar of a globe-trotting hacker named Keya Dhawan.
