Industry makes exports of $500 million annually

SIALKOT:

Sialkot Deputy Commissioner Adnan Mehmood Awan has said that Sialkot is second to none in the world in the manufacturing of surgical instruments, highlighting the region’s importance in the field. The surgical instrument industry is a value-added industry that earns significant foreign exchange for Pakistan by exporting $500 million worth of products annually. He expressed those views while speaking at a meeting with members of the Surgical Instrument Manufacturers Association of Pakistan after the inauguration of the Technology and Innovation Summit 2023.
