The incident caused panic among local residents and the sound of the blast reverberated for miles. The injured were promptly transported to Quetta’s civil hospital for urgent medical attention. Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, expressed strong displeasure concerning the escalating wave of terrorism in several areas, including Quetta.

He denounced the efforts of anti-national elements aiming to spread fear and chaos, especially leading up to Independence Day. Bizenjo highlighted the disturbing trend of heightened terrorism during the month of August in recent years, underscoring the need for robust security measures to counter the threat.
