Over a dozen cases of abduction reported

Victims include 11 women and a child

At least 13 kidnaping cases were reported in the area in recent days. The police said they had launched efforts to locate the victims and arrest the abductors.

As per a police report, Mohammad Ali, a resident of Baowala was abducted allegedly by Ayub and six others who locked him in a room. In another incident in Millat Town, Rana Nadeem and six accomplices kidnapped six-year-old Shakeel. Mah Noor from Naimat Town filed a complaint of the abduction of her husband Umar Farooq by unknown people.

A teenage girl was kidnapped by Tanveer and four others while she was on her way to a shop in Anarkali Bazaar. Additionally, Mazher and five others kidnapped a man in Charagh Town. Nimra was allegedly kidnapped by Farman and two others, and Areeba Amjad by unknown man while she was shopping in the D Ground area.

Ali and his three friends were suspected of being involved in the abduction of Nisha from Madina Town, and Mahek from Yousufabad was kidnapped by Waseem and his group.

In Batala Colony, three people kidnapped Rubina Siddiq's daughter, and Ghulam Rasool's daughter and Abid's sister. Naila and Nayab were taken away from other areas.
