Threads to get web version and advanced search
Meta has been consistently releasing new updates and adding new features like built-in-transaltion and chronological feed for Threads, and this time too the company intends to create advanced search features and web-version for the platform.
The announcement was made by Meta Co-founder, Mark Zuckerberg who said that both web version and advanced search are coming to Threads “in the next few weeks.” Last week, Instagram head, Adam Mosseri, confirmed similar news.
Briefly, Threads users could view Reply Button on their profiles, but clicking on the button achieved nothing. This might have hinted a web version was on the way.

The advanced search feature could be a major upgrade for the platform, allowing users to search for specific words or posts, rather than just account profiles.
Meta hasn't yet indicated if Apple users with iPad or Mac might be getting their own web version of Threads. One of the engineers at the company has indicated that the web version is being experimented on Macs as well, but the app was “buggy and not worth investing time to fix”.

Meta has been rapidly losing users, just as quickly attracted as it gained them, due to lack of key features on the platform that will enhance the experience of Threads. Since then, the company seems to be working studiously to bring in new features and updates on the platform and regain back its users.
