Google has introduced a new feature called 'Resize' for Android to provide users with enhanced customization options for their Gboard.
Resize presents itself as a separate tab, enabling users to easily adjust the height of their Gboard according to their preferences. Instead of offering a fixed set of options, such as Extra-short, Short, Mid-short, Normal, Mid-tall, Tall, and Extra-tall, Resize allows users to intuitively drag and adjust the height to their liking.

Regarding the width, users have the flexibility to resize it to one-third, half, or three-quarters of the screen.
Currently, the Resize feature is available in the beta version 13.2.05.x for Android phones and tablets. However, it is important to note that it is not yet accessible on all devices.
