Alia Bhatt is worthy of all praise when it comes to her impeccable style and her raw talent as an actor. Bhatt’s recent film, with co-star Ranveer Singh, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani hit Indian theatres on July 28, with promotions taking place in the weeks before. Bhatt’s Manish Malhotra saree wardrobe for the promotional events for Karan Johar’s directorial comeback fit her role as Rani perfectly.

For her makeup and hair, the Gangubai Kathiawadi star opted for a nude lip and kohl-rimmed eyes coupled with signature jhumkas. Her hair was styled in picture-perfect beachy waves. Here is the ranking of seven of Alia’s looks that channelled her inner onscreen portrayal:

1. Ombre affair

For the Delhi promotions, Bhatt wore an ombre saree with pastel shades ranging from blue to pink. The delicate lace at the borders added an elegant detail to the outfit.

2. Pastel hues

Bhatt’s next saree look suited her like a charm. With blue pastel hues and a light printed effect, she was a real life Rani.

3. Bubblegum pink

Bhatt opted for a bubblegum pink saree with a yellow border for her first promotional event in Vadodara. She minimally accessorised this ethnic look with silver jhumkas and a bindi.

4. Black beauty

Another Rani look that Bhatt donned was the royal black coloured saree. She balanced the outfit with traditional earrings and a simple ring.

5. Dual tones

Bhatt chose to wear a glamorous red and pink dual toned saree for the Kolkata promotions. She styled it with minimal accessories to keep the saree centre stage.

6. Glorious purple

For the promotions in Chandigarh, Bhatt opted for a majestic purple colour, with intricate black sequencing details. She sure looks like a sight for sore eyes.

7. Tie and dye

The most recent promotional event in Jaipur saw Bhatt wearing a tie and dye saree with all the essential summer hues. With green, pink and yellow tones, she kept this look traditional with silver bangles and a black bindi.
