Two-Day Celebrations: Coast Guards celebrate Defence-Day

to pay rich tributes to Pakistani armed forces on September 6 and 7 in Karachi.

KARACHI: In a joint venture, Defence Day celebrations will be organised by Pakistan Coast Guards and The Millenium Grammar School to pay rich tributes to Pakistani armed forces on September 6 and 7 in Karachi. This was announced by CEO Mughal Ali Akbar. The chief organisers, Kaleem Ahmed Awan and Mir Mohammed Ismail Baloch, were also present during the briefing. The director general of Pakistan Coast Guards, Brig. Shahryar Khan, will be in charge while the deputy director, Col. Mohammed Younus, will be the supervisor. Later on, the scheduled programmes were announced which included speech competitions, patriotic songs and family walks in six different locations of the city.
