In a tragic incident in the city, another young man lost his life while resisting a mobile phone snatching. The incident occurred in Landhi Sherpao Colony, where a 21-year-old was shot and killed during a robbery attempt. This year, the number of dead citizens in such resistance situations has reached 82.

According to the details, on Friday, the young man was sitting outside his house in Landhi Sherpao Colony, using his mobile phone, when two armed suspects on a motorcycle approached him. They attempted to snatch his cell phone at gunpoint, but the brave youth resisted and grabbed one of the culprits. In response, the other bandit fired at the young man, causing severe injuries. He was rushed to Janah Hospital but tragically passed away on the way. The deceased, the second among four brothers, worked as a machine operator in a private garment factory and was unmarried.

SHO Amin Solangi confirmed the incident, stating that one fatal gunshot proved lethal for the young man. It's alarming to note that this year alone, 82 citizens have lost their lives due to resistance during robbery incidents in the city, with over 500 civilians injured in similar circumstances.
