Mian Allahyar Gudgor, a district leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Q from Sahiwal, lost his life after falling from the fourth floor of a building in a private housing society within the jurisdiction of Lohi Bhir police station.
According to sources, the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.
They said Islamabad police are investigating whether it was a murder or an accident.
Sources said the deceased was present at the private housing society's plaza, accompanied by some friends and business partners. Late on Thursday night, he fell from the fourth floor under mysterious circumstances and succumbed to his injuries immediately.
Upon receiving information, Lohi Bhir police arrived at the scene and transferred the body to the hospital for an autopsy.
Sources also suggest that Mian Allahyar Gudgor might have engaged in heated arguments with his business partners, and during one such confrontation, he allegedly fell victim to a forceful push from the fourth floor, leading to his tragic demise. However, the details remain unverified at this stage.
The authorities have taken four individuals, who were present during the incident, into custody.
Lohi Bhir police station SHO Inspector Mian Ghaffar stated that the victim was among those present at the plaza, but the exact circumstances of his fall and subsequent death remain unclear.
