Airport Seizure: Heroin found in luggage

KARACHI: Pakistan Customs Drug Cell staff found six kilogrammes of heroin in the luggage of an Afghan-born Dutch passenger, Asim Ahmadi, at the Karachi Airport. Custom’s Media officer, Qamar Thalho, said that the drug was concealed in picture frames, hair clips and curtain knobs, he added that the passenger was going to Toronto by PIA flight PK 783. The officer said that the case was registered and further investigations were under way.
