Well, aliens are apparently real. And imagine the surprise of Twitter users when they had to find this out through Pop Crave, a tabloid portal that posts news pertaining to entertainment. The self-proclaimed "go-to source for everything pop culture since 2015" took to their Twitter handle to share an intriguing video.
Captioned, "Former US Intelligence Agent David Grusch says under oath that the US government is in possession of UFOs and non-human biologics," the tweet and accompanying video led to people collectively losing their minds. However, what shocked people more than anything was the fact that it was, in fact, Pop Crave that broke the news.

"Not me learning aliens exist from Pop Crave…that’s the same way I found out about COVID," lamented one Twitter user. "Don’t be shy, show us," said another user of the microblogging site. In a manner true to Twitter, no one could take the news seriously. A can of worms had been opened, and to cope, people took to being wisecracks on the site.

"People's reaction to finding out aliens exist is literally just this," wrote one user, accompanying their tweet with a scribbled stick-figure drawing of people conversing amongst themselves, sparing time to share one giant thumbs-up and returning to what they were doing. "We all know who summoned them," said another tweep, sharing the now-infamous screen grab of Demi Lovato trying to converse with non-human entities on a supernatural show. Another Demi fan wrote, "And you all laughed at Demi Lovato. Now look at you all."

In a follow-up tweet, Pop Crave further shared, "Former Navy fighter pilot Ryan Graves reveals chilling details on the existence of UFOs: 'These objects were staying completely stationary in Category 4 hurricane winds. These same objects would then accelerate to supersonic speeds.'" Suffice it to say, this information alone, if true, is quite terrifying. Does Twitter care, though? No.

"It’s funny how they literally said, 'Yup aliens are real and we have some hostage,' in this conference and everyone is here like (accompanied by an image of an unimpressed Squidward)," shared one user of the site undergoing an identity crisis thanks to Elon Musk. "The American government is bored," wrote another user. "The way this made zero noise is so funny to me," said yet another tweep.

According to TIME, Grusch told lawmakers under oath that he believes the US government is in possession of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) based on his interviews with 40 witnesses over four years. The Pentagon has reportedly denied Grusch’s claims about a UAP crash-retrieval and reverse-engineering program.
