Police claimed to have solved a murder case in which a man was brutally murdered and arrested three suspects, including a woman, on Wednesday.
According to a police spokesperson, unknown suspects brutally tortured a citizen named Ghulam Jaffer alias Allah Wasaya. They reportedly forced him to drink acid and left him in an orchard before fleeing the scene.
The victim was shifted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Shehr Sultan police registered a case against the unknown suspects upon the complint of the deceased's father. DSP Jatoi Khalid Bilal and SHO Shahid Rizwan traced the killers and arrested Shamim Mai, Azhar Laskani and Waseem Yasin.
According to police, the deceased was supposed to come to the house of the accused, who allegedly drugged Ghulam Jaffer and then took him to the garden and gave him acid to drink instead of water.
