MANCHESTER: England paceman Tim Bresnan has warned that England are looking to hit India hard in the one-day series as they aim to inflict another whitewash. India will go into the five-match series weakened by the absence of five of their World Cup heroes due to injuries. “India might be favourites because they won the World Cup,” said Bresnan. “But we’re quite difficult to beat at home. We hit them hard in the Tests and we’ll be looking to do the same in the one-dayers.” The series begins on September 3.
