He can do better: Twitter reacts bitterly to Aditya, Ananya’s romantic escapade

For some time now, speculations have been rife about romance brewing between Bollywood heartthrob Aditya Roy Kapur and starlet Ananya Pandey. However, Aditya and Ananya’s recent pictures from Spain have added fuel to the fire. The viral images, shared by Indian photographer Manav Manglani and Filmfare, showcased the duo exploring the scenic streets of Lisbon in an embrace.

While many fans expressed their excitement and support for the budding couple, others voiced disappointment, especially towards Aditya. Social media platforms were flooded with mixed reactions, with some fans yearning to see more of the duo together, and others wishing them ill-fate. 

“Ananya Panday posting pictures of bookstores and the sea in Portugal, like girl, show me Aditya Roy Kapoor on a damn beach,” wrote a user. 

 Another wrote, "I hope Ananya Pandey marries Aditya Roy Kapoor. I would like to see you all have a breakdown.”  

A dramatic tweet read, “Life can change at any moment. Today, while I was on my way to the office, I happened to casually see something on the internet that broke my heart. I am still trying to process my thoughts, but I can't help it. I hope things will be fine soon. I mean, how can Aditya Roy Kapur date Ananya Pandey?”

Another user defended the couple’s choice to date each other. “Glorifying Aditya Roy Kapoor just because he fits into your definition of good looks and trolling Ananya Pandey because she doesn't fit your home-made beauty standards is pathetic. Instead get a life and let them live. Also, if she struggles to act, Aditya hasn't given any hits either,” read the tweet.  

Aditya was last seen in the movie Gumraah and is currently working on Anurag Basu's film Metro...In Dino, alongside Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sara Ali Khan, and Anupam Kher. The highly anticipated movie is scheduled for release on March 29, 2024.

On the other hand, Ananya recently appeared in the film Liger alongside South actor Vijay Devarakonda. Her next venture, Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, is eagerly anticipated and slated for release later this year.
