An anti-terrorism court judge fixed July 12 for further arguments in post arrest bail applications of PTI’s leader Dr Yasmeen Rashid in three FIRs registered against the party leadership and workers over the chaos, creating law and order problems and setting ablaze the Askari Tower following the former prime minister’s arrest.
As proceedings commenced, the petitioner's counsel argued that his client has been implicated in concocted FIRs despite she had nothing to do with these charges.
The cases registered against the PTI’s leaders were of political victimization. The petitioner is innocent.
The law officer strongly opposed the arguments arguing there are clear evidences which establish the involvement of the accused women in the May 9 incidents.
However, the judge adjourned proceedings by next date for further arguments.
