Previously, due to multiple Reddit posts, a perception was built that Steam would no longer be publishing games with AI-generated content. However, Valve had a different statement.
In a statement given to The Verge, Valve PR representative Kaci Boyle said the company’s goal is not to discourage the use of AI-generated content on Steam. Instead, they are working on how to integrate it into existing review policies. Their focus is to ensure developers do not infringe on existing copyrights in the AI-generated content.
