QUETTA:

The Balochistan National Party (BNP) has declared a wheel jam strike on July 3 in response to the unrest in Wadh Tehsil of Khuzdar district, Balochistan.

In a press conference held at Quetta Press Club, Waja Jehanzaib Baloch, the party's Secretary General, announced that all highways across Balochistan would be blocked on July 3 as a sign of protest against the tense situation in Wadh. Additionally, protest rallies are scheduled to take place throughout the province on July 8.

During the press conference, BNP leaders Prince Musa Jan, Akhtar Hussain Langove, Musa Baloch, and Sanaullah Baloch were also present.

Waja Jehanzaib Baloch expressed the party's determination to politically resist any actions taken against the people of Balochistan.

He further stated that a shutter-down strike would be observed on July 14 throughout Balochistan, in opposition to what he referred to as political engineering.
