PEF declares 87% partner schools up to the mark

335,840 students from 7,326 schools participate i quality assurance test

The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has declared 87 per cent of its partner schools successful in its quality assurance test for the academic year 2022-23.

A total of 335,840 students from 7,326 schools participated in the test.

A spokesperson stated that 3,302 schools affiliated with the foundation's Assisted School Programme, 1,577 enrolled in the Education Voucher Scheme and 1,475 associated with the New School Programme achieved successful level in the examination.

The spokesperson said 182,707 female students succeeded in the examination, surpassing the number of male students.

On the other hand, 413 schools have failed the test once, 436 schools twice and 44 in three tests consecutively.

This test is conducted annually to assess the educational standards of partner schools. Schools that fail once receive a warning, those that fail twice face a 50% reduction in monthly payments and those failing consecutively for three times have their educational partnership cancelled.
