Kundi says it was his desire to equip all hospitals of DI Khan with state-of-the-art facilities

PESHAWAR:

Minister of State for Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Faisal Karim Kundi here on Tuesday inaugurated the burns and plastic surgery unit at the Mufti Mehmood Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan.

Former Member Provincial Assembly, Ahmad Karim Kundi, senior officials of Gomal Medical College Dr Nasim Saba Mehsud, Dr Umar Shah Astrana, Dr Muhammad Wasim, duty doctors, paramedics and elite of the city attended the event.

In his address, Kundi said that it was his desire to equip all hospitals of DI Khan with state-of-the-art facilities so that patients could not go for treatment to other cities such as Islamabad, Multan or Lahore. The burns and plastic surgery units at Mufti Mehmood Hospital in DI Khan were established through the dedication and self-help efforts of doctors, he said.
