He said that President Zardari’s visit would be a good occasion to devise a strategy to steer the entire region towards economic development and enhanced economic connectivity. He said that nine ministerial forums would discuss issues like agriculture, tourism, media, culture and finance. Ambassador Khan said that President Zardari would use the platform of China-Eurasia Expo 2011 to share his vision about enhanced connectivity between Pakistan and China to shorten trade and travel distances between the Gulf and China by establishing corridors passing through Pakistan.
President Zardari will also have a meeting with Executive Vice Premier Li Keqiang, Khan said. He said that the two sides would review the entire gamut of bilateral relations with a sharp focus on the dividends of Expo 2011 for Pakistan and China.
