CPNE constitutes committees for year 2023-24

Committees aim at protecting the interests of CPNE member newspapers and journals in Islamabad and Punjab

The Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) has constituted two committees – Islamabad/Rawalpindi Committee and Punjab Committee – for the year 2023-24.

Islamabad/Rawalpindi Committee will be chaired by Sardar Khan Niazi while Yahya Sadozai will be its deputy chairman.

This committee aims at protecting the interests of CPNE member newspapers and journals working in the federal capital and organising functions, workshops and seminars for the print media to promote its standards.

Other members of the committee include former CPNE president Kazim Khan, Tahir Farooq, Salman Masood, Shakeel Ahmed Turabi, Mian Abrar, Mumtaz Ahmed Sadiq, Rao Khalid Mahmood, Javed Baloch, Abdul Salam Bath, Tazeen Akhtar, Sajjad Abbasi, Mian Fazal Elahi, Kasur Jameel Rohani, Aamir Ilyas, Safeer Hussain Shah, Khalilur Rehman and Muhammad Ali Zanjani.

The Punjab Committee will be chaired by Yousuf Nizami while Ayaz Khan will be its deputy chairman.
