In separate incident, three bandits take family hostage, rob them of rifle, gold set, cash

Robbers stole cloth worth Rs270 million from a factory. Police registered a case and started raids to arrest the accused.

Suspects barged into the section of the factory located in Chak No. 77/RB where bleached stock had been stored and stole over a million meters of cloth worth Rs270 million from there.

Khurrianwala police registered a case and started searching for the accused.

In a separate incident, three robbers entered the house of Shafiq Jatt located on Jhang Road, took the family hostage and robbed a rifle, a gold set and Rs2.5 million and fled.

The police could not arrest the suspects despite erecting a blockade.

Meanwhile, police announced a cash reward of Rs200,000 to the person who provided information to police about the suspects who had killed a person in Gulberg area.

Police officers had already formed teams for the arrest of the suspect in the case.

The SHO of Gulberg, Inspector Raja Ihsanullah, said that whoever informed the police about the suspect in case No. 1033/22 registered with Gulberg Police Station in which the suspects had killed a person during a robbery incident would be given a cash reward of Rs200,000 and their name would be kept confidential.
