A group of eight robbers looted a bus carrying wedding guests, robbing them of cash, gold jewellery and mobile phones.

The incident occurred near the Lahore Road.

The victims alleged a delayed response from the police despite timely information.

According to the police report, the coach carrying Hafiz Waleed, Nasrullah and their female relatives was intercepted by eight robbers traveling in two cars. The criminals swiftly carried out the robbery, stealing cash, mobile phones and jewellery estimated to be worth Rs200,000. Following the incident, the robbers fled the scene.

Upon being informed of the incident, the Balochani police arrived at the location.

They registered a case against the unidentified robbers under section 395 of the Penal Code and initiated a search operation to apprehend the robbers.
