PITB’s citizen contact centre receives 7.1m calls

Statics gathered through information provided by citizens to improve service

Punjab Information Technology Board's (PITB) Citizen Contact Centre (CCC) has achieved a significant milestone by receiving 7.1 million calls from concerned citizens seeking information, lodging complaints, and expressing their opinions since its inception in 2015.

In addition, the CCC has made 6.1 million outbound calls and 18 million robo calls to record citizens' valuable feedback. These statistics were shared during a project review meeting chaired by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf.

During the meeting, it was revealed that the CCC has sent over 500 million messages to citizens through its one-way message service. Moreover, the CCC's two-way message service has benefited more than 75 million individuals.

To ensure uninterrupted support to citizens, the Citizen Contact Center operates round the clock with a dedicated team of 200 calling agents working in three shifts.
