Family of four found slaughtered

Police find no leads after postmortem, identify 15-year-old boy, two women and one male as victims

A quadruple murder was reported in Yazman, where four members of the same family were slaughtered. Among the victims were two women and a child. While the entire area is filled with grief, IG Punjab has taken notice of the incident and ordered the immediate arrest of the accused.

A Rescue 1122 control room received a call from Chak 102 DB late on Wednesday night, reporting four dead bodies in a house and a motorcycle burning outside. As soon as the fire was reported, rescue teams and local police reached the scene where the motorcycle was on fire. The victims were identified as Rashid, 45-year-old Shazia Bibi, 15-year-old Abdul Rehman and 55-year-old Rahmat Bibi. All four victims’ throats were slit

According to SHO City Police Station Yazman, the postmortem of the dead bodies was completed and the investigation process is ongoing, however no evidence has been found yet. The funeral prayers of the deceased were performed and they were buried on Thursday.

Police are treating the incident as a blind murder and DPO Bahawalpur Syed Abbas Shah said that the accused will be brought to justice as soon as possible.
