Peoples Marine Walk project launched on Sea View

KDA DG said that Phase 1 will be completed in a short period of one year with estimated project cost of Rs100 million

Local Government Minister Sindh Syed Nasir Hussain Shah inaugurated the Peoples Marine Walk project on a 1.5km-stretch between Hyperstar Store, Clifton, and Dua Chowrangi on the Sea View Beach road.

Shah was accompanied by Information and Broadcasting Minister Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh Government Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab, Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Director General Muhammad Ali Shah, CM's Special Assistant Faraz Lakhani, PPP senior leader Najmi Alam and renowned industrialist Shoaib Feroz.

Peoples Marine Walk will be 100ft-wide 1.5km-long road with walking track, washrooms, play land, restaurants, parking, water sports, and floral display on its sides allowing hosting of various social and cultural events and providing entertainment facilities to the citizens.

KDA DG Muhammad Ali Shah said that Peoples Marine Walk Project Phase 1 will be completed in a short period of one year with estimated project cost of Rs100 million.

Sharjeel Memon said the Peoples Marine Walk is a gift for the people of Karachi. "We are going to build a water park and a restaurant here. Ground breaking has been done to convert this dream into reality," he said.
