Six terrorists killed in 'complex clearance op' at Balochistan FC camp: ISPR
The clearance operation at the Frontier Corps' (FC) camp attacked in Muslim Bagh area of North Balochistan a day earlier had been completed, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Saturday.
At least seven Pakistan Army soldiers and a civilian were martyred in the attack, the military's media wing further revealed.
The ISPR added that six terrorists, "who were well equipped", were killed in the operation.
“Another six individuals including a woman were injured,” the military said.
The "complex clearance operation" involved a hostage rescue situation, whereas three families were also saved from a residential block. "The terrorists had not even spared children of their horrendous approach,” the ISPR added.
The statement maintained that necessary intelligence follow up will continue to trace the terrorists' connections and arrest facilitators, and expose their sponsors.
“Security forces, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart all attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan,” the ISPR said.
A day earlier, the ISPR reported that the security facility in Muslim Bagh had been attacked in the early hours of May 12.

"Commander 12 Corps is supervising the security forces operations being conducted at Muslim Bagh area in Balochistan where the terrorists have been cornered into a building complex," the military sources said.
"The security forces continue to maintain pressure on the terrorists," the statement added, saying that a "heavy exchange of fire is underway.
PM expresses grief
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed "deep grief and sorrow" over the martyrdom of Pakistan Army soldiers and a civilian during the operation against terrorists.
The premier expressed sympathies with the bereaved families, the PM Office's media wing said in a press release.
Shehbaz said that the armed forces of Pakistan were "fully committed to eradicating terrorism and the entire nation was standing with their security forces".
He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured people and directed for provision of all available medical treatment to them.
