Singer and actor Ali Zafar is currently touring in Canada and has concerts in multiple cities there. One of his concerts opened with a rapid-fire round with a Canada-based journalist, who asked him about his thoughts on Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif. He was also asked to comment on Pakistani stars Saba Qamar and Mahira Khan.
Zafar, on Friday, retweeted a video of this rapid-fire round in Vancouver to write, “Told you not to ask difficult questions.”

Thank you #Vancouver for an amazing evening. https://t.co/rl4qkzM3IH
The Q&A series began with Zafar’s opinion on Bollywood’s King Khan. Smiling, Zafar shared, “Shah Rukh is very inspirational. He’s a charmer so if you’ll meet him, he’ll charm you and make you his fan for life. He’s one of those rare human beings that you come across once in a lifetime.” About his Kapoor & Sons co-star Bhatt, Zafar acknowledged that she’s “very hardworking”. As for Kaif, his Mere Brother Ki Dulhan co-star, he smiled and paused to note, “She’s tall.”
Moving to local stars, the host asked the Jhoom singer whether he prefers Mahira or Saba when it comes to acting chops. “They’re both great actresses. Saba Qamar, however, has this strength, striking intensity and depth. Mahira, on the other hand, is our nation’s superstar so, both of them have their own place,” he said.
Upon which song he loves more between Jhoom and Channo, he simply said, “Channo has her own place, other girls come after.” Lastly, Zafar had to choose between his favourite art form – acting or singing. Of course, he said, “Singing for sure. Acting is a very interesting but while singing, you can’t lie.”
