Luxury at its best: ONE Homes unveils a $40m resort-style residential project in Islamabad

The highly-anticipated $40 million luxury resort-themed residential development, One Serene Residences, was officially unveiled on April 28th, 2023. As Pakistan's first ever project with international standards of luxury living and resort lifestyle, the press conference held at the prestigious Sheraton Grand London Park Lane marked a historic milestone.

One Serene Residences has been specially designed for the overseas Pakistani diaspora, and is being developed by ONE Homes, an investment group that has a track record of delivering exceptional residential properties. An array of world-class partners are involved in this luxury project, including Italian design house Versace Ceramics for floor and wall finishes, UAE's leading group Ayana Holding as a strategic partner, VX Studio as the design consultant, and Opaal as the interior designers.

A residential lobby, resort-themed pool, kids' pool, state-of-the-art fitness centre, spa, steam room, sauna, treatment rooms, residents' private theatre, cafe, shop, restaurant, kids' club, and convenience store will be featured in the project, which is located on Serene Avenue in DHA Phase III. With these world-class facilities, residents will experience comfortable, convenient living at its best.

Present at the event were Hamid Kerayechian - CEO & Founding Partner of Ayana Holding, Ghada Yaiche - Design Director at VX Studio, and Rana Hammoura - Senior Interior Designer at Opaal Interiors.

Other dignitaries and media personalities attended the event, including Aqib Hassan, Chief Commercial Officer of ONE Homes at One Group, and Shaan Abbas, Commercial Director of ONE Homes at One Group. Also in attendance was Zeeshan Shah, Chairman and Founder of One Group.

Speaking at the momentous occasion, Aqib Hassan, Chief Commercial Officer of One Homes at One Group said:

We have previously launched One Canal Road, one of the mega projects in Lahore, developed by way of joint-venture with Hexagon Properties, which has been widely acclaimed and embraced by overseas Pakistanis.

Our original completion date for One Canal Road was set for Q4 2024. However, based on our current pace, we are confident that we will complete the project ahead of schedule.”

Mr Hassan further elaborated:

“The site and its surroundings are amazing, and it was the first thing that caught our attention when we received the project brief. As architects, it was very exciting for us to design a building in such a unique location. The rainforest is not something we come across every day, and the surroundings are incredibly attractive.

We made a conscious effort to work with the natural environment, and we created a strong connection to it by incorporating transparency and outdoor spaces in our design."

 

Asked about the inspiration behind the project, Rana Hammoura, Senior Interior Designer at Opaal Interiors, shared that it aims to provide residents with a sense of comfort and belonging. Moreover, the public areas are designed in a way that lets users sit comfortably, converse, and socialise. The space has been designed to foster a sense of togetherness and encourage interaction in an era when communication is lacking.

As a continuation of One Canal Road in Lahore, One Serene Residences are strategically situated just five minutes from the golf course, seven minutes from the Giga Mall, and 30 minutes from the heart of Islamabad, offering the perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility. The project is scheduled for completion in 48 months.
