Security plan devised for Pak-NZ matches

Security plan was formulated by the Security Division

KARACHI:

More than 6,500 security personnel will be deployed as part of a comprehensive security plan for the ODI matches between Pakistan and New Zealand.

The security plan was formulated by the Security Division during a meeting chaired by DIG Security Dr Maqsood Ahmed at the SSU headquarters, where all stakeholders, including senior police officers, Pakistan Army, Sindh Rangers, and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officers, were present. More than 6,500 security personnel will be deployed for the safety of spectators, players, and officials at various locations, especially at the stadium, airport, routes, parking points, hotels, and other sensitive locations.
