Three terrorists killed in two IBOs in Tank, DI Khan

Two terrorists were also injured during the operations, says ISPR

Security forces on Monday conducted two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Tank and DI Khan districts, killing three terrorists, the military said.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the operations were conducted on the reported presence of terrorists in the two areas. It added that three of them, including terrorist commander Jabbar Shah alias Shah Alam, were killed during intense fire exchange while two others sustained injuries.

It said that the sanitisation of the surrounding areas is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

The statement further said that the security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism.

The TTP has been responsible for numerous attacks in Pakistan, targeting both civilians and security forces. The group is known for its brutal tactics, including suicide bombings and beheadings.

Pakistan has been fighting a war against terrorism for over a decade, and the security forces have been actively pursuing and targeting militant groups in the country.
