Zoom has acquired the employee communications platform Workvivo to help companies improve their internal communication and culture.
After the increased use in the pandemic, Zoom has constantly improved its platform to engage and retain more users. With Workvivo on board, the company aims to "fully unlock the potential of their employees and evolve their company culture in a hybrid world".
As per ZDNet, Workvivo provides multiple options such as polls, surveys, activity feeds, shout-outs, email digests, community groups, organisation charts, and shared calendars, which will help better communication among employees in a digital/hybrid workspace.
We believe people work to live, not live to work – which is why we’re excited to share @workvivo will be joining our team! Together, we will expand our platform and focus on putting your people at the heart of work. 💙🎉 https://t.co/LfzuXsEywX

As per Zoom, "engaging employees and driving culture through connection is no longer a ‘nice to have’ — it’s imperative for success in today’s business environment". As a result, acquiring Workvivo aligns with the platform's vision.
Zoom is, however, yet to release the terms and conditions of the deal.
