HARIPUR:

Haripur Yawar Hayat Tehsil Chairman Haripur Samiullah Khan has said that it has been a year since the establishment of the tehsil councils of the province, but there is great uncertainty about whether any funding will be received or not.

“We are still providing the best services to the citizens in the most adverse conditions. We have reduced the expenditure of millions of rupees per month on fuel and other heads,” he said while addressing the elected members of the Haripur Press Club

He said that the major TMAs of the province, including Peshawar and Bannu, could not pay their employees and pensioners for many months. Similarly, we also have serious problems but the funding and the funders are also in the same situation. The whole province is in the same trouble. Because TMA Haripur's expenses are more than double its income, the situation will remain grim and dire until the province provides funding or the rents for TMA properties are increased.
