A summons notice has been issued to former prime minister Imran Khan for appearance on April 11 in the Toshakhana criminal proceedings case.
District and Sessions Court Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal issued a summons notice to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief.

In the summons notice, it is said that Imran should appear in the court at 8:30 am on April 11 and the compliance officer should be present in case of non-compliance with the notice.
The main case of the Toshakhana criminal proceedings is scheduled for hearing on April 29 and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has filed a request for early hearing of the case.

The former prime minister was earlier issued a notice on April 8 but failed to comply. The court then adjourned the hearing till April 11 without proceeding.
