I could write a book about her: Adnan Samad, Sajal Aly sing praises of each other

Actors display camaraderie on social media, making a case for healthy co-star relationships

Actors Sajal Aly and Adnan Samad Khan have something to say about each other. The actors, who are currently sharing the screen in TV serial Kuch Ankahi, recently commended each other’s acting chops on Instagram.

Kuch Ankahi has struck a chord with viewers for its progressive storyline and fleshed out characters, and both Sajal and Adnan are currently basking in its glory.

During an interactive session with fans on his Instagram Stories, Adnan, when asked to present his honest thoughts on Sajal, claimed that he could write a book about her.

He also held that the What’s Love Got to Do with it? star doesn’t need external validation because she knows what she’s made of. Sajal, in response, asserted that people are yet to discover what Adnan is made of.

“Oh! I could write a book [about her] but I won’t” remarked Adnan. “Sajal Aly is one of those who don’t need other people praising them to feel good about themselves,” he added. “She knows what she’s made of, more power to her.”

Having tagged Sajal in the Story, the Yaqeen Ka Safar actor replied saying, “Janab, abhi tou logon ko ye nahi pata (People are yet to find out) what you are made of!”

It’s always refreshing to see such camaraderie between artists on social media amid a sea of spiteful comments and negativity. Most recently, The Legend of Maula Jatt star Humaima Malick and former actor Noor Bukhari made a case for publicly lifting up fellow artists instead of competing with each other. "Two actors can be best friends too," said Humaima while thanking Noor, and calling her an inspiration.
