Two women allegedly murdered by husbands

In a case of violence reported from Chak 33, where seven people, including two women, allegedly tortured a woman and her nephew after raising suspicions about their character.

Meanwhile, two other women were allegedly murdered by their husbands in separate incidents.

According to the police report, Muhammad Nadeem was visiting his maternal aunt when the family members, including Muhammad Raza, Muhammad Imran, Jamilan Bibi and Aaliya Bibi allegedly attacked them.

The attackers also cut the woman’s hair and injured both the victims.

Upon receiving the complaint, the police registered a case under sections 337, 354, 148 and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). The police said they were making efforts to arrest the attackers nominated in the case.

In another incident, Mumtaz Bibi, a resident of Sammundri tehsil, reported to the Roshanwala police that her daughter Mubeen had been killed by her husband Muzammil with the help of Tayyab Raza and three other people.

The complainant alleged that the murderers had disposed of the body. She stated that Muzammil frequently fought with his wife.

The local police also registered a case against Salim on charges of murdering his wife Irum Safdar and throwing her body in a canal in Chak 485GB.

The body had been found by the police who had launched a search for her relatives.

A brother of the deceased alleged in his complaint that Salim had killed her.

The Sammundri Saddar police said they were striving to apprehend the suspected murderer after registering the case under sections 302 and 311 of the PPC.
