Kanye West, also known as "Ye," has shared a post on Instagram claiming he likes Jewish people again. After making several anti-Semitic comments and conspiracy theories in interviews and public appearances last year, West, in his post, gave a shoutout to Jonah Hill since watching him in the film 21 Jump Street made him like Jewish people again.

“Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump street made me like Jewish people again,” wrote Ye. “No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people. No Christian can be labelled antisemite knowing Jesus is Jew. Thank you Jonah Hill I love you.”

West had previously faced backlash for his comments, including a tweet in which he claimed he was "starting to think anti-Semitic means [the N word]" and his praise of Adolf Hitler during an appearance on Infowars in December. Adidas, with whom West had a partnership previously estimated to be worth $1.5 billion, ended the partnership due to his comments, stating that the company "does not tolerate anti-Semitism and any other sort of hate speech."

Despite apologising for some of his comments in an interview with Piers Morgan, West was later suspended from Twitter after sharing a photo of the Star of David combined with a swastika. In an interview with Chris Cuomo, West also referred to a "Jewish underground media mafia," suggesting that Black musicians signing with Jewish-owned record labels is a form of "modern-day slavery."

West's recent Instagram post emphasized the importance of not turning anger against individuals into hatred towards entire groups of people. He also stated that no Christian could be labelled anti-Semite, knowing that Jesus himself was Jewish. West's previous comments sparked controversy and criticism, and his recent post has reignited discussion about the impact of celebrities' words and actions on public discourse.
